PLURALS (review)

Para repasar los plurales, échale un vistazo a este sitio.

* In general:

nombre + S --------------> 1 book => 2 books

* Pero si el nombre acaba en
S / SH / CH / X / O, entonces al nombre le añadimos ES

1 bus => 2 buses
1 brush => 2 brushes
1 church => 2 churches
1 box => 2 boxes
1 tomato => 2 tomatoes



* Si el nombre termina en Y, precedida de consonante (Lady), el plural se forma cambiando la Y por IES (Ladies).


En caso de que delante de la Y haya alguna voca,l simplemente añadimos S (boy => boys)



* Si el nombre termina en F / FE, cambiamos la F / FE por VES ( wolf => wolves ; wife => wives).



* Otros nombres tienen una forma que no sigue ninguna regla y por eso se denominan IRREGULARES: child > children ; tooth > teeth ; fish > fish ; mouse > mice

* Este verbo significa TENER, en español.

* Para hacer una pregunta o una negación, se hace como con el verbo TO BE:

a) PREGUNTAS: cambiando el orden del verbo (ahora en primer lugar) y el sujeto (2º lugar)

b) NEGACIONES: colocando NOT detrás del verbo.
